TAI was granted recognition by SEBI and set up to nurture and cater the need of Trustee Industries.

TAI – TRUSTEES ASSOCIATION OF INDIA

TAI is registered under the provisions of Companies Act as a Section 8 Company limited by guarantee and not having share capital. TAI is an association of debenture trustees, security trustees, REIT, InvIT, AIF Trustees, escrow agents, lender agents, etc and such other SEBI registered intermediaries which are engaged in trusteeship and allied activities in India and abroad.

Pursuant to SEBI circular on Redressal of investor grievances through the SEBI Complaint Redressal (SCORES) Platform and linking it to Online Dispute Resolution platform (SEBI/HO/OIAE/IGRD/CIR/P/2023/156) dated September 20, 2023, Trustees Association India (TAI) is recognized by SEBI as a Designated Body for Debenture Trustees (DTs), who are members of the TAI in order to monitor the process of the redressal of investors’ grievances by entities in SCORES platform.
